Cream of Bacon and Broccoli Soup
8 cups chicken broth
1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
1/2 chopped onion
3 chopped celelry sticks
1 TB kosher salt
2 cups heavy cream
3 cups fresh chopped broccoli florets
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup crumbled bacon
In slow cooker add mushroom soup, prepared chicken broth, onion, celery, salt and set to high. Slow cook for 20 minutes. Add cream, broccoli and bacon. Let cook for one hour.
Reduce heat to low and add cheese. Serve when you are ready to eat.
