Slow Cooked Derbytown Chili

This is my way of making chili. It's a simple recipe. It can be ready when you are (2-10 hours). The chili flavor will intense the longer it's cooked. So be careful on how much you add after the first dose. After 2 hours, turn the slow cooker to low to prevent scorching.

2 lbs ground beef or turkey
2 (15oz) cans of "no beans" chili
2 (29oz) cans of tomoato sauce
1/3 cup chili powder
1 TB Onion Powder
2 cloves garlic (minced)
Salt and Pepper to taste

Opptional ingredients:
Favorite prepared kidney beans
Spaghetti noodles

Brown ground beef or turkey, drain and crumble. Combine cans of chili and tomato sauce and onion powder into slow cooker on high heat. Stir in browned meat, chili powder and garlic.

Slow Cook for 2 hours, stirring occasionally and tasting for desired flavor. Add salt and pepper to taste. Check and stir every 15-30 minutes, serve and enjoy when you're ready.

Toppers:
Shredded cheese, oyster crackers, tortilla strips, etc...
